Blood of the Raven

DI Bethany Smith and her partner, DS Mike Wilkins, have just come back from a much-needed break in Spain. Unfortunately, they’ve walked straight into another murder case. A woman has been found, dead from an attack with a knife, and her baby is missing. Anne is employed to kidnap babies for a fake adoption agency, but the excitement of having a job like this means she does things her own way. She shouldn’t have killed Vicky North, but she has a good reason to behave the way she does. Another woman is murdered in her bed, and a second child is taken. Bethany needs to find the babies fast, before any more are abducted. The thing is, are the infants alive or dead? Why have two little girls been snatched? Where are they?
