Greek Through Reading
J. A. Nairn, G. A. Nairn
Greek is not nowadays usually attempted until a sound foundation has already been laid in Latin. This book aims at making the fullest use of that foundation. We assume that the mechanics of an inflected language are already understood. The structure of Latin and Greek, both in accidence and syntax, is so similar, that the experience gained in the one language can be readily transferred to the other. [From the Preface}.
